The event consists of a three-day summer school, followed by a two-day workshop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-oceanblue\"><strong>Lectures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The summer school will feature three courses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications of Geometry to Economics, in Auction Theory and beyond:\u00a0<strong>Prof.\u00a0 Elizabeth Baldwin\u00a0<\/strong>(University of Oxford)<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Queuing:\u00a0<strong>Prof. Marco Scarsini<\/strong>\u00a0(Luiss\u00a0University)<\/li>\n<li>Mechanism Design with Inspection:\u00a0<strong>Prof. Rakesh V. Vohra<\/strong>\u00a0(University of Pennsylvania)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants will also have the opportunity to present their work through flash talks and poster sessions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-oceanblue\"><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications from <strong>PhD students<\/strong> and <strong>postdoctoral researchers<\/strong> across all domains of <strong>game theory<\/strong> are welcome. Advanced research or academic achievements are not required to participate in the summer school.\u00a0Participants are expected to have a\u00a0<strong>basic understanding of game theory\u00a0<\/strong>and\/or related technical disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>There will\u00a0<strong>not\u00a0<\/strong>be any<strong>\u00a0registration fee<\/strong>\u00a0for the event (summer school and workshop). Food (coffee breaks and lunch) and any additional activities will be covered by the organization.
