The event provides an opportunity for researchers from different universities and countries to discuss their work in a relaxed and collegial atmosphere and to develop long-term collaborative relationships. It also provides an opportunity for young researchers to meet and discuss their work with senior economists. \u00a0The conference brings together economists for a period of two days. To foster the desired interaction, we ask that participants stay for the entire duration of the symposium.<\/p>\n<p>Cecile Gaubert (UC Berkeley and CEPR) and Owen Zidar (Princeton University) will deliver the keynote speeches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-oceanblue\"><strong><br \/>\nSubmissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paper proposals are invited in any area of public economics. Both theoretical and empirical work is welcome. Please submit a paper <a class=\"btn btn-link btn-link--yellow\" href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/cepr\/call-for-papers-cepr-public-economics-annual-symposium-2025\">via this link<\/a>.
