Klischeefrei is a nationwide initiative founded in 2016 that unites actors from education, politics, business and research. Together, they actively promote gender-neutral career and study guidance.
With the new partnership, ECONtribute is working even harder toward the goal of creating a career and study choice free of gender stereotypes. The goal is to promote individual abilities – independent of gender roles. Since female researchers are underrepresented in economics in particular, ECONtribute prioritizes the advancement of women through a diverse, stereotype-free, and inclusive research and work environment.
“It takes the collaboration of everyone involved in the educational process to create a work environment free of gender stereotypes. Together with the initiative, we want to use networks and synergies to improve career opportunities for young women in economics,” said Prof. Dr. Matthias Heinz, Equal Opportunities Officer at ECONtribute.
