Workshop: Social networks and wellbeing of older adults

The University of Cologne is organizing a two-day workshop on social networks and wellbeing of older adults, which takes place on 7 and 8 December in Die Wohngemeinschaft (Belgisches Viertel). The workshop will bring together a curated set of scholars with an interest in aging, health, loneliness and/or social network methodology to discuss diverse theoretical approaches, common problems, and empirical solutions to these problems. The 14 presentations cover research using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. This includes a presentation of the first results of the DFG-funded project Jeckenstudie.
