Hauke Licht worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the CCCP (Cologne Center for Comparative Politics) in the ERC-funded MINORITYRULE project lead by Prof. Dr. Proksch. In his research, he develops and applies text-as-data methods to study electoral competition and democratic representation. He has a particularly strong interest in applications to multilingual text data and methods at the intersection of quantitative political text analysis, natural language processing, and machine learning.
