Lukas Reinhardt holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Münster. He started his PhD at the Cologne Graduate School of Economics in 2019 under the supervision of Bettina Rockenbach and Axel Ockenfels.
In his research he focuses on the intersection between behavioral economics and political economy with an emphasis on the determinants of social cohesion, social identity and political preferences. These determinants include institutions, cultural practices, shared experiences, crises and inequality.
