Simon Rother is a PhD candidate at the University of Bonn’s Graduate School of Economics. His research comprises topics in financial economics and macro-finance, focusing on financial intermediation and financial stability. Simon completed his Master of Science in Quantitative Economics in 2016 at the Universities of Frankfurt, Mainz, and Darmstadt. During his studies, he visited Princeton University as a student research collaborator and interned at Deutsche Bundesbank and the German Economic Institute.
