DESCRIPTION:Claudia Goldin was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences this year for her significant contributions to the advancement of our understanding of women's labor market outcomes. In celebration of this award, ECONtribute YEP Students organize a junior workshop in Gender and Labor Economics to bring together junior and early-career researchers working in these fields. The workshop will follow a flash-talk format, where each presenter will have up to 10 minutes to introduce their research agenda and describe one project in greater detail. This event will provide a platform for junior researchers from the Universities of Bonn and Cologne to engage in productive discussions, receive constructive feedback on their ongoing research, and establish potential collaborations. People who are interested in participating, please send an email to Valentina Meletyeva (vmelentyeva@wiso.uni-koeln.de), indicating whether they would like to present or just attend the workshop. Program will follow soon.
