The Universities of Bonn and Cologne successfully submitted the joint draft proposal for the Cluster of Excellence “ECONtribute: Markets & Public Policy”.
The goal of the proposed Cluster is to establish a new paradigm for the analysis of market failures and public policy, taking into account recent advancements in economic theory and behavioral economics. By joining the forces of two of the leading economics departments, the Cluster aims at establishing a new standard for the analysis of Markets & Public Policy. All ECONtribute research activities shall be conducted under the umbrella of RSI.
The draft proposals for Clusters of Excellence in the framework of the Excellence Strategy by the German Federal and State Governments to promote science and research at German universities will be reviewed until September 28, 2017.
