Selten Seeding Grants

For Associated Members of ECONtribute

Selten Seeding Grants support early career researchers who are associated members of ECONtribute. These can be used to finance research projects (data, experiment, student assistants), to organize workshop/conferences or to cover travel costs for conferences, training, networking or other events related to their professional development as researchers.

Max. funding amount per person per year: 5.000 Euro.

Max. funding amount per project: 5.000 Euro.

Co-Funding by a non-RSI source is required for any joint project > 5.000 Euro.

Funding Scope: The overall funding scope is 50.000 € per annum.

Eligibility

Early career researchers (doctoral candidates, postdocs, assistant professors) at University of Bonn and Cologne who are associated with ECONtribute.

Selten Grants

For Researchers linked to ECONtribute

The RSI supports researchers in disciplines other than economics and management, whose research is thematically linked to the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute. There are two type of grants: either funding for research projects (up to a max of 5.000 € per project and per person per year) or three-year PhD stipends. The total funding scope is 80.000 Euro per annum.

Eligibility

Doctoral candidates, postdocs and professors who are members of the University of Bonn and Cologne (via contract) and who are not associated members or full members of ECONtribute.
