Political Science and Political Economy Lecture with Corinna Kröber (University of Greifswald)

The Cologne Center for Comparative Politics (CCCP) and the Excellence Cluster ECONtribute (ECONtribute: Markets & Public Policy EXC 2126) jointly host a lecture series on Political Science and Political Economy in 2024, showcasing research on political economy, institutions and behavior by internationally leading researchers from top departments in Germany and abroad.

Prof. Corinna Kröber (Greifswald) will kick-off this term’s “Political Science and Political Economy” lecture series. Prof. Kröber has published extensively on the representation of marginalized groups (particularly women, but also citizens of immigrant origin and ethnic minorities) in legislatures, executives, and parties. You can read more about her research and teaching on her personal webpage. At the lecture, Prof. Kröber will present her paper: “Gender bias in legislative oversight: Do parliamentarians control women ministers more tightly than men ministers?” (co-authored with Lena Stephan, Sarah C. Dingler, and Camila N. Montero Trujillo).
