YEP Mini Course with Omer Tamuz (Caltech)

Omer Tamuz (Caltech) will give a mini course on ‘The Value and Cost of Information’ for doctoral students and postdocs of the University of Cologne and University of Bonn.

In this mini course we will think about how to formally model information as a commodity that has a cost of production and a value of consumption. The main framework that we will use is that of Blackwell experiments and the Blackwell order. We will start from the basics and lead up to recent advances.
