Axel received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim in 2017. He then undertook his master’s studies at the University of Bonn, during which time he also joined the Bonn Graduate School of Economics as a doctoral student. Until 2023 he was a YEP Fellow at ECONtribute. His research is in microeconomic theory, with a particular focus on mechanism design without monetary transfers.
