As of September 1, 2020, Christine Laudenbach will be new Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Bonn and in the Cologne-Bonn Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute. Laudenbach received her PhD from the University of Mannheim in 2012 and then moved to the Goethe University in Frankfurt, where until now she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the area of finance. “I am excited about my tasks, both at the University of Bonn and in the Cluster of Excellence, and I am looking forward to the upcoming years,” said Laudenbach at her appointment on Monday.
Laudenbach’s research focuses on behavioral economics and household finance. Her research interests include investment strategies and the behavior of private individuals with regard to their finances. Most recently, she published her first book on simple wealth strategies.
“We are very pleased that we could win Christine Laudenbach for the Cluster of Excellence and the University. She is a great enrichment for the entire faculty and we wish her a successful start”, said Thomas Dohmen, spokesperson of ECONtribute: Markets & Public Policy.
