Co-Creating Tomorrow: A Workshop on Human-AI Collaboration

Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to advance and is integrated more and more into human life. Hence, there is an increasing need to understand the ways in which humans and AI can work together effectively. The University of Cologne recognizes this need and is committed to fostering promising interdisciplinary research in this area.

To achieve this goal, we invite young researchers (2nd year master students, PhD students) as well as faculty to co-create tomorrow, in a Workshop on Human-AI Collaboration. Building on last year’s workshop, the goal is to bring together young researchers and experts from various fields, including economics, information systems, psychology and management, among others. By combining their different perspectives, experiences, and expertise, participants can develop innovative and comprehensive solutions for the challenges that arise in this field of research.

The workshop will take place on September 26-27 2024 at the University of Cologne, including coffee breaks and lunch on both days, as well as dinner on the first day.

Overall, the Workshop on Human-AI Collaboration promises to be a fruitful event, providing a platform for both young and faculty to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. Through such collaborations, we can develop more robust approaches to effectively integrate human-AI collaboration into the workplace, with great potential to benefit industry and society.
