Christian Fons-Rosen is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of California, Merced. Before joining UC Merced as an Assistant Professor in 2018, he was a faculty member at Pompeu Fabra University, where he served first as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2016 and then as an Associate Professor from 2016 to 2018. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and is affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. Fons-Rosen holds a PhD and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, completed in 2010 and 2003 respectively, and a BSc in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University, obtained in 2002.
