CV
Daniel Weishaar is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cologne and a YEP Fellow of ECONtribute. He holds a PhD in Economics from LMU Munich and has completed extended research stays at the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University.
His research lies at the intersection of public economics, welfare economics, political economy, and normative economics. He is particularly interested in multidimensional inequalities, how they are perceived, and how public policies can address them. To this end, he combines insights from theoretical models with empirical analyses based on observational data and specially developed survey experiments.
