Eliott Von-Pine is a PhD candidate at the University of Bonn and the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute. His research focuses on financial intermediation, asset pricing, and macroeconomics. He holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from ENSAE Paris and a BSc Economics from the University of Warwick. Formerly, he has worked at the European Central Bank in the Forecasting and Policy Modelling division, at HEC Paris and at Descartes Underwriting. He is currently studying the insurance sector, with an emphasis on reinsurance and interactions with the banking and non-bank sectors. His work has implications for regulation and financial stability.
