Iris Schneider is a social psychologist whose research focuses on attitudes, ambivalence, social behavior, and trust, examining how people think, feel, and decide in contexts marked by contradiction and complexity, such as politics, relationships, and organizational life. She completed her PhD at the University of Amsterdam and held postdoctoral positions at VU University Amsterdam and the University of Southern California as a recipient of the NWO Rubicon Grant. Her work has been funded by the Dutch Research Council and the German Research Foundation, and has been published in leading journals in psychology.
