Copyright limitations and creative uses, media and press law, general right of privacy

Prior to joining the University of Bonn, Jost Schmidt completed an apprenticeship as a media clerk with a focus on rights and licenses. He then studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, where he focused on media and communications law. In 2019/20, he was a research assistant at the Media Kanzlei Frankfurt. Since October 2020, Jost Schmidt has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Information and Data Law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and is working on his doctorate in copyright law.
