Firm dynamics and policy along two key dimensions: (1) international trade dynamics and FDI and (2) innovation, research & development (R&D) and economic growth.

Adam has been an assistant professor of macroeconomics at University of Bonn since Winter 2024. Prior to this appointment, he was assistant professor of economics at University of Nottingham (UK). He completed a joint Ph.D. in economics and finance at University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) in 2018. He has served as data editor at Journal of Financial Economics since 2023. He has published in journals such as Review of Economic Studies, Journal of the European Economic Association, International Economic Review and European Economic Review.
