CV
Maximilian Grimm is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Bonn. His research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics, finance, and economic history. His work combines empirical and theoretical approaches to investigate the causes and consequences of financial market booms and busts. Given the crucial role of rare events, such as systemic banking crises, in shaping boom-bust dynamics, his research often builds on newly collected long-run data to gain new insights into current debates.
