Anne Hannusch is an Associate Professor (tenure-track) at the Department of Economics at the University of Bonn. Before joining the University of Bonn in 2025, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Mannheim. She completed her Ph.D. in economics at Emory University in 2018. During her doctoral studies, she visited the University of Pennsylvania and the European Central Bank. Her research focuses on how changing family structures shape the aggregate economy and intergenerational inequality. She seeks to develop a deeper understanding of the mechanisms through which demographic trends, fertility decisions, and family policies influence economic outcomes across generations.
