Louisa Specht-Riemenschneider is a professor for civil, information and data law at the University of Bonn and received her PhD from the University of Bremen in 2011. Prior to her appointment at the University of Bonn, she had a professorship at the University of Cologne and the University of Passau. In Bonn, she is head of the research center for legal issues of new technologies and data law and serves as a member of the board of directors and managing director of the German Society for Law and Informatics as well as a deputy chair of the Council of Experts for Consumer Issues of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection.
