Prior to moving to Germany, Sara Azzarito graduated from Bocconi University in Italy with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Management, as well as a Master’s degree in Data Science and Business Analytics. She subsequently worked for two years as a Junior Consultant for CompNet. Before starting her doctorate at the University of Cologne in 2025, she completed a Master of Economic Research at the same university.
