Valentin Kecht earned his Ph.D. from the University of Bonn. He is an applied microeconomist interested in labor economics, financial economics, and political economy. Kecht holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bonn, an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Romance Linguistics from the University of Munich. He will begin a new position as a postdoc in Lausanne in September 2026.
