The economics departments of the Universities of Bonn and Cologne jointly hosted a meeting of the prestigious Review of Economic Studies (REStud) Tour 2017 as part of the Bonn-Cologne Joint Seminar Series.
The Review of Economic Studies May Meetings have been held annually in May since 1989. Every year, in line with the Review’s tradition of encouraging the work of young economists, some of the most promising graduating doctoral students in economics and finance in the world are selected to present their research to audiences in Europe. Experience from previous years has shown that many ‘upcoming stars’ are usually among the speakers of the REStud Tour.
The Bonn-Cologne Joint Seminar Series biannually offers excellent seminars and lectures for students and researchers of both universities.
