Johannes Kochems is a PhD candidate at the Cologne Graduate School of Economics. He completed his bachelors degree in Economics at the Johannes Guttenberg-University Mainz (JGU). During the course of his masters studies at the JGU he spent one term abroad at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) in Belgium. Before joining the Cologne Graduate School (CGS), Johannes completed the two-year course phase of his PhD at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE) of the University for Mannheim. His main research interests lie with labor economics, public economics and applied microeconomics.
