Matthias Kräkel is a Professor for Business Administration at the University of Bonn. He studied Economics at the University of Hannover and received his PhD at the Free University of Berlin in 1992. Among other positions, he is a Research Fellow at IZA and a member of the Verein für Socialpolitik, the European Economic Association, and the American Economic Association.
