Ulrich Thonemann is the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne and Director of the Department of Supply Chain Management & Management Science. Among others, he is the President of the University of Cologne Business School, Scientific Advisory Board Member of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik and member of the Verein für Socialpolitik and the Stanford Club. He studied in Paderborn, Nottingham, San Diego and Berkeley and received his PhD in Stanford in 1994.
