Pierre Boyer is a Professor at the CREST Department for Economics at Ecole Polytechnique at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP)
Pierre also serves as a Deputy Director of the Institute and Program Director for “Democracy and Institutions” at the Institut des politiques publiques (IPP)
in Paris. He is affiliated with the CEPR and the CESifo as well as associated with the Collaborative Research Center “Political Economy of Reforms” (Sonderforschungsbereich 884) at the University of Mannheim. In 2017 he was awarded the Edmond Malinvaud Prize by the French Economic Association (AFSE). Pierre studied Econometrics in Toulouse and received his PhD in Economics in 2010.
