Alexander Westkamp ist Professor für Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Universität zu Köln. Bevor er die Professur in Köln übernahm, war er als Juniorprofessor an der Universität Maastricht tätig. Er promovierte 2009 an der Bonn Graduate School of Economics.
