Sven-Oliver Proksch ist Professor für Politikwissenschaft und Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Europa- und Mehrebenenpolitik am Cologne Center for Comparative Politics (CCCP) an der Universität zu Köln. 2008 promovierte er an der University of California (UCLA); zuvor studierte er Politikwissenschaft an der Universität Konstanz.
